Alhamdulillah… All praises to Allah…
It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to receive the NCU Scholarship Award this semester.

I express my gratitude to my supervisor, Dean Prof. Hwang, who not only supported me but also provided me with the necessary academic training to become a proficient PhD researcher. I am sincerely thankful for his unwavering support and encouragement, which has been invaluable to both my research and personal life.
Furthermore, I would like to express my appreciation to National Central University (NCU), particularly the Graduate Institute of Network Learning Technology department and the Office of International Affairs, for granting me a four-year PhD scholarship and providing me with excellent living and learning facilities. It is now my turn to repay NCU through my academic contributions. Over the past 3,5 years, I have already made several contributions to the academic community, including publishing 5 articles in SCCI journals, presenting 6 articles at reputable international conferences, serving as a teaching assistant, and participating in several academic projects. In addition, thank you to my families and all friends who always support me until now. You know??? 你這道嗎 ? Living in Taiwan is hard but full of love. It is because, every day, I see the affection of love, whether from young couples (click see the article) or old generations. They give me spirit and courage to face the difficulties of reality. For example, when I felt stressed, stuck, and struggled with academic writing and publications (you should try if you think that publication in SSCI journal is easy… #nocomment #jiayou). It looks like nothing, compared to the old couple who sell the fried food from 5pm until 5am in the food street.
I saw when they opened the store, I saw when they competed to sell the food because there were similar stores in the front-left-and right, and I saw they closed the store when I was walking from the Muslim prayer room in the early morning (around 5 am). Then I realized that, such as:
- They collaborate. Then, I also decided to collaborate with others to open the possibility with other experts. Why? It is because you cannot do research alone. Thanks to all my collaborator and contributors around the world!
- Even though there were hard competitions, they still sell the food. Similarly, sooner or later, we will compete not only human beings but also Generative-AI like GPT-4 from openAI. If you use chatGPT it is just the free version. Two months ago, around the beginning of March, I could not sleep well after I got limited beta developer access for GPT-4. It is because GPT-4 can perform well in many NLP tasks. Please be prepared that writing articles in the future is easy but there are a lot of competitors because many authors will use Generative-AI when brainstorming and writing.
- They still work hard until now. How about us that are still young or middle aged? Do not complain! Just do your best! Whatever the results, at least we have to try, and we don’t feel regret later! It seems like a song from the Jay Chou 周杰倫.
